Zero Mile Point
Zero Mile Point in Hinganghat, Maharashtra, is considered a symbolic central reference location used for measuring distances within or around the town. In many Indian cities, a “Zero Mile” or “Kilometre Zero” point represents the origin point from which distances to other places are calculated.
While the most famous Zero Mile monument in Maharashtra is located in Nagpur (built during the British era in 1907 as part of the Great Trigonometrical Survey), Hinganghat also has its own local reference point that holds regional importance.
