Located in the older part of Hinganghat, this area reflects the town’s transformation from a small settlement near the Wunna (Wena) River into a thriving commercial and cultural hub of the Vidarbha region.

This heritage zone is characterized by narrow streets, traditional houses, old marketplaces, temples, and public structures that date back to the late 18th and 19th centuries. Many of these structures were developed during the early municipal planning phase when Hinganghat began expanding as a cotton trade center under British influence.
